VOLUNTEERS

Our club is run by volunteers. All community clubs are extremely fortunate to have many strong contributors and people that have been willing to help around the place. We consider ourselves a very lucky club from that sense as organisations such as ours do not survive without the volunteers. These are the mums and dads, present and past players who are willing to put something back in to the club that has given them so much enjoyment.

That is the legacy we have and we are now looking to this year’s parents and players to do your bit in keeping our club alive.

All parents of players are expected to provide assistance throughout the year to ensure the smooth running of the Club. Volunteering includes; undertaking tasks such as team management, refereeing, lines people, ground marshals, first aiders, setting up and pulling down goals/nets, keeping the ground clean and tidy as well as various other tasks which may present themselves from time to time.

The roles that are critical to running our club are coaches, team managers and committee members. We have worked hard to fill our coaching roles and are proud of the individuals that have been appointed so far. We are now looking for team managers and committee members. Please consider either as we need to ensure each team has a team manager in order to field a team and we need committee members to help run the club.

The Club’s committee is hoping for greater support from the parents and friends of our juniors this year, in particular with assisting in fund raising activities, obtaining sponsorships and attending our functions. So, if you would like to offer some of your time and assist our Club, please see any of the current committee members.

PARENT RESPONSIBILITY

Parents are reminded that whilst your child is training or playing with the Club that you are expected to be in attendance should something happen or should you be required. Unless alternative arrangements are made, parents should not leave children at the Club to train and/or play without them being in attendance.
